  • LARIN HITS QUADRUPLE, 24 FOR SEASON

    Beskitas striker CyleLarin continued his fantastic form in front of goal at the weekend after netting four goals for his team in the 7-0 thumping of Hatayspor in the Turkish Super League. The result took Beskitas a step closer to the league title.

    Canadian international Larin had not scored a treble in a game at club level since August 2018 and he went on one better against Hatayspor. Larin scored all his four goals within 54 minutes. He has been linked with a move to Merseyside giants Everton as per the report from Fanatik.

  • EVERTON BATTLE LEICESTER FOR OZAN TUFAN

    There will be a three-club battle for the possible signing of Fenerbahçe star Ozan Tufan in the summer. The Turkish club would love to hang on to one of their star players but they may be forced to let him go in the summer if the right offer comes in with as many as three English Premier League clubs queuing for his signature.

    According to the Telegraph, the trio of Crystal Palace, Everton, and Leicester City are all vying for the Turkey international star’s transfer who could cost as much as £17 million. The 26-year-old midfielder is a star performer for Fenerbahçe and has this season further shown reasons for him to remain with the Istanbul giants, but his long-term stay in Turkey is in doubt.

  • CALVERT-LEWIN IN LINE FOR EVERTON START

    Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is in line to make his first start for the Toffees since his return from the hamstring injury that made him miss two Premier League games this month. The Everton player sustained the hamstring injury during the FA Cup fifth round clash with North London giants Tottenham Hotspur at home. He was one of the goalscorers as Everton beat Spurs 5-4 at the end of extra time to progress into the quarterfinals. Everton came out on the right side of the nine-goal thriller at home to Jose Mourinho’s men. Everton will now face in-form Manchester City next month in the FA Cup quarterfinals at home to determine who will go through to the semis. Manchester City are a difficult opponent at the moment as they have won 19 games on the bounce in all competitions. Manchester City have won their last 13 games in the Premier League.

  • Fabrizio Romano Provides Bernard Transfer Update

    Top transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided a key transfer update to Everton fans about one of their players who seem to be edging closer to a move away from the club. The winger’s future has sparked huge speculations in recent weeks and with the January transfer window closing on Monday evening, the rush to push him away from the club has been a topic of huge importance.

    Romano disclosed last week that Arabian club Al-Nasr were in contract negotiations with the Toffees and that they were interested in snapping him up on loan for the rest of the season. He has now provided a piece of follow-up information on the topic as he recently announced that Everton and AL-Nasr are now in advanced talks for the transfer of the Brazilian playmaker who has 14 caps for his country.   • EVERTON TARGET ERIKSEN LOAN DEAL

    Mersyside giants Everton can take their midfield to the next level if they can pull off the transfer of Danish international playmaker Christian Eriksen who has been informed that he can leave Inter Milan in this January transfer window. Inter Milan midfielder Christian Eriksen has struggled to hold down a permanent slot in the Nerazzuri midfield under manager Antonio Conte since he joined the Italians at the start of last year. Inter Milan paid €20m to sign Eriksen from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur in January 2020 and he had to leave Spurs as he had six months left on his contract and the North Londoners could not risk losing him for free.


    The interest of Everton in Christian Eriksen was revealed by media outlet La Stampa. It was disclosed that Everton want to take him on loan until the end of the season. According to La Stampa, Everton are not the only English club to approach Inter Milan with a loan offer for Christian Eriksen. Arsenal are also keen on taking the ex-Ajax Amsterdam player on loan for the remainder of this season despite his ties with North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur. (more…)

  • RODRIGUEZ OUT OF CHELSEA CLASH

     

    Everton playmaker James Rodriguez won’t be available for the Toffees when they take on Chelsea at Goodison Park in a week twelve game in the Premier League. His absence for the game was confirmed by Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti during his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon.


    It was revealed that James Rodriguez has a little injury problem picked up from thelast league game, a 1-1 draw at Burnleyearlier this month. Carlo Ancelotti said that the Colombian international star won’t be risked for the Chelsea game after he didn’t train throughout the week as a result of the injury. (more…)

    Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti reveals what his star player James Rodriguez told him, adding that he doesn’t trust him. James is fighting to be part of the Everton squad to face Manchester United tomorrow.

    The Toffees welcomes the out-of-form United side at Goodison Park in an attempt to rediscover their winning ways. The Merseyside Blues were without a single victory in October in the English Premier League, having two defeats and one draw, following their flawless start in Carlo Ancelotti’s first full season.

  • Ancelotti Turns Down Potential Option of Signing Rodriguez

     

    Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has said that James Rodriguez will be most likely to stay another year at Real Madrid diminishing the hopes of him joining Everton. His future at Real has been under speculations during the past few months. He returned back to Spain in the last season after spending two years of a loan spell at the German club Bayern Munich and he was looking forward to earning a regular spot at the squad of Zinedine Zidane.


    The striker has only appeared in 14 games in this season and his contract at Real would be expiring on next season. Madrid won their match against Athletic Club on Sunday but on the match, he wasn’t even benched. When asked about this on the post-match session Zidane has commented that the players need to be left out due to his own reasons and he will not be elaborating the reason for absence anymore. He was brought to the club on 2014 from Monaco for £68 million but he in his stay at the club was unable to unleash his full potential.

  • Carlo Ancelotti justifies decision to play Anthony Gordon

     

    Anthony Gordon was included in the first team of Everton in the match against Liverpool as many have questioned on including an inexperienced player like him on the team. Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti has justified his decision saying that he has seen him play. The youngster’s name on the team sheet was a surprise to everyone,as the player has not made played such an important match at Premier League.


    Ancelotti said to Sky Sports that Gordon on the training session has shown confidence and determination and he deserves to play when such an opportunity is available. He made his debut against West Ham in the Premier League and was also a substitute in the match against Chelsea which was played before the three-month-long break without any football activity.

  • Darren Bent believes Everton should offload Sigurdsson to sign Jack Grealish

    Former Premier League star Darren Bent believes Everton should sanction the sale of Gylfi Sigurdsson during the next transfer window in order to land a younger replacement. The Icelandic footballer has been a valuable performer over the years but he has struggled for form this term with just one goal and two assists from 26 league games.


    As a result, there has been doubts regarding his future with the Toffees and Bent believes it could be time to part ways with Sigurdsson to sign a player of Jack Grealish’s calibre, he told: “I think it might be time for them (to sell). If they’re going after someone like a Grealish or a Jesse Lingard. We know Sigurdsson’s got ability, we know how good he is, he’s brilliant – technically, he’s very, very good.
