Beskitas striker CyleLarin continued his fantastic form in front of goal at the weekend after netting four goals for his team in the 7-0 thumping of Hatayspor in the Turkish Super League. The result took Beskitas a step closer to the league title.
Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is expected to receive a significant amount of money to spend on transfer targets this summer to improve his squad and Larin could be one of those targets. He has been one of the best players in the Turkish Super League this season. The Canadian national team player has scored 24 goals in all competitions for club and country this season.
Larin was a former teammate of Brazilian football icon Kaka at Orlando City in the Major League Soccer (MLS) and the 2007 Ballon d’Or winner predicted good things for the player. It’s no surprise that the player is living up to the expectations of Kaka and other football fans.
Everton and the Premier League would be a different challenge for the Canadian if he’s able to move to English football in the summer. Apart from Everton, West Ham United are also interested in signing him. The Hammers were said to have failed with a £9m bid for him during the January transfer window.
Larin will have one year left on his current contract at Beskitas this summer and the Turkish giants are likely to cash in on him rather than lose him for free in 2022.
Everton could offer Turkish international player CenkTosun in a swap deal for Larin. As things stand, Tosun does not have a future at Everton under Ancelotti.
